The Mudbrick Gnome House

The all in project of a kindergarten area gnome house has emerged over winter with many classes and ages participating. Soon we will see the roof consolidated and fringed with succulent gardens. This project involved: class 5&6 who completed most of the mud brick making as part of a unit of work involving construction/building; class 7 who dug the footings, mixed and poured the concrete and began the stonework,; class 9/10 who completed the stone sub-wall, the structural posts (hidden), roof frame, bottle windows and window/door frames; class 8 who completed much of the mud brick laying which was finished off by class 7 who also rendered and created the tree relief.
