We are offering both Ancient Egypt, & at a separate session Ancient Greece, both very potent periods in the evolution of the Myths & Mysteries as a stream of wisdom & insight nourishing the development of human consciousness & therefore providing a meaningful context for life. This series presented by experienced Steiner teacher & teacher trainer Bernadette White, offers QUALITY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INCLUSIONS FOR CLASS TEACHERS as well as bringing pictures of hidden streams of history awakening the parents to this big epoch picture backdrop for the history & civilisation Main Lessons & beyond. Main Lessons play their key role as a form of deep dive learning delivery of our unique Steiner curriculum, as well as offering opportunities for the children to live into the cultures that may have been theirs in past incarnations, (as some teachers but far from all are aware). What an inspiring & imaginative way to bring such pictures unconsciously, yet powerfully to the child, enabling them to reconnect inwardly with something of their earlier lives on earth & find connections in some classmates who may have been there too. All this can serve their unfolding in this current lifetime.

Sophia Montefiore, who teaches & mentors several aspects of the high school curriculum, is for this presentation, working with the Transformation of the 12 Senses to support free thinking. May I suggest this as useful for staff to attend also, or at least register, so they are able to listen on a weekend perhaps, rather than a weeknight with school the next day. The 12 senses are unique to Steiner’s picturing of the human being, & Sophia will be showing how in her words, “the Steiner Curriculum brings a health-giving consciousness to support the human journey through birth to adulthood. Individual free thought, discernment, and independence are nurtured by subtle transformations of sense-life experiences. Join us in exploring the way Steiner Main Lessons work with the 12 senses to harmonise the developing inner life of our young people.” Developing these capacities is more necessary than ever given global uncertainties & adversarial forces whose own subtleties will need increasingly to be recognised by young people to find a wholesome way forward to unfold their destinies.

Finally Sandra Frain offers healthy seasonal outdoor opportunities to create & maintain with your children, your home garden, a local community garden, even your grandparents garden, whatever works in your family. Fostering this wilfully active family time develops life skills, interest in the plant life cycle, nutrition with edible plants, & the beauty of the natural world to touch on a few benefits. Being in touch with the earth in real ways & developing a relationship to the seasonal cycles through gardening, is a wholesome invigorating rhythm through various shared activities.
