David lives and works at a Camphill Community for young adults with special needs in Aberdeen Scotland. He also teaches at the Aberdeen Waldorf School. David works in a wide variety of mediums mainly using watercolours, pastels or acrylics. He has illustrated themes such as Parsifal Eros and Fable by Novalis, Aspects of Michael, the Norwegian poem of Olaf Asteson, Goethe’s fairy tale of the Green Snake and Beautiful Lily. He is also a prolific mural painter. David is particularly interested in painting as a social and therapeutic medium. He has worked in a diverse range of settings to help the building up of different community structures. His works have been exhibited widely. Published works include:
David has advised that children should not attend but high school students are welcome, provided that they are comfortable workshopping with adults and importantly, attend at their own free will.
