Steiner 101: Myth busting and More
There are many misconceptions about Steiner education, which should not be surprising given that historically, pioneers of new forms of consciousness are usually misunderstood until the rest of the world catches up. This presentation will address some of the more common misconceptions and show how Rudolf Steiner actually pioneered many of the key defining characteristics of mainstream 21st century education. While he had to use language that was addressed to Europeans at the start of the 20th century, his message was for the world 100 years later i.e. now. This presentation serves as an introduction to Steiner education for parents and teachers who are new to a Steiner school.
